PDP is a module that lasts your whole university year - from beginning to end. The point in this module is to document everything: highs, lows, what I've learnt, mistakes I've made, everything. I started an illustrated journal in September before moving everything online about a month ago.

I found the transition so smooth and easier to keep on top of everything when it's digital and in front of me. I also eliminate the risk of losing my journal or having it ruined by a spilt drink or my rabbit (yes, she loves eating paper).

I also find it quicker and a LOT neater. I can upload pictures with the click of a button rather than resizing, printing, cutting and sticking. If I make a mistake in my writing its also quicker to backspace then it is to rip a page out and start again.

I also have the added benefit of reaching an audience, to be able to show and explain my work on an online platform for people and potential future employers to see. I found this out when I joined instagram earlier this year, my success on that platform led me to start this blog. By uploading my work onto instagram and hashtagging the relevent subjects I ensured my work could be reached by hundreds of people and the response was overwhelming! I have so many followers who like and comment on my work regularly and I have also been in talks with one of my followers about an internship in London this Summer. It has opened so many doors for me and thats just with a picture and some hashtags! Blogging has to be so much better right?

I've been trying to update my blog every other day to keep on top of it and to regularly document my university journey.
