End of Year Fashion Show

The main purpose of the end of year show is that its a chance for the third years to show their work, get photographs and a little publicity before heading to Graduate Fashion Week to showcase their collections. I was so excited to be able to be a part of this and to also have my design featured in the show.

I volunteered to model in the show, mainly for one reason, it was an opportunity for me to see everything that went on back stage and the organisational skills and set up for the show. The photo above is the casting and fitting session that took place beforehand.

On the day of the show all of the models outfits were laid out in their own section so it would be easy to do quick changes.

We also had the opportunity to get our hair and make up done professionally to make us uniform within the show.

Being part of this show was so overwhelming but amazing at the same time and I cant wait to be a part of it again next year. Having my design featured in the newspaper and in photographs was incredible and I feel proud of myself for getting this far!
